CENTER FOR LIFE SKILLS (CLS) at DPS Jamnagar is first of its kind initiative that will add value to adolescents and equip them with right skill-sets to deal effectively with the demands and challenges of everyday life.

- Life skills will be taught as an independent discipline in the content areas identified.
- It will be integrated with teaching of other disciplines of learning.
- Special lectures will be organized to sensitize the students on Life skills.
- Cooperation and participation of parents will be sought in developing right attitude to life.
Skills taught in School enables the students to translate knowledge, attitude and values in actual abilities.

Life skills can be defined as abilities for adaptive and positive behavior that enable individuals to deal effectively with the demands and challenges of everyday life. The skill-sets aim to be developed from Grades 6 onwards are primary, essential skills required for a child to be successful in any domain of specialization in future.
